As soon as Kyle Scisco emerged from the #31 in the post tech area following his latest win, team owner Steve Ferrera greeted his driver with a cold drink and a bear hug.  The smile on Ferrara’s face, the image of a very delighted car owner. His newest driver Kyle ‘The Scisco Kid” has become a threat to win each time he pulls onto the track at wall stadium this season.

Ferrara said “The guy is good. Real good. He’s the best driver we’ve had since Eric’ (Mauriello). “  Which is high praise indeed as Maureillo racked up an impressive record during the years he raced for Ferrara.

Scisco, for his part is delighted to be driving for Ferrara.

When asked if he felt like he has found a home with this team  Scisco said “Oh Yeah, everything's going well and Steve's (Ferrara) happy and all of his guys are happy we seem to be gelling together pretty well. So, you know, hopefully, this is the first couple wins of many. Steve and all of his guys put so much effort and work into the cars I put in the driving. So, it's just a good combination and we mesh together.”

Do you think your driving style goes good with the car?

Scisco said “Oh, absolutely.  I think the car is so good. I could drive it any way and it'll still be fast. But, I got comfortable. And, I'm happy that things are going the way they're going.”

So believe you have a long future together?

Scisco “Yeah. Yeah. So far, so good. You know, we got some plans to do some things next year, and, maybe go out to Evergreen or stuff like that. So, everything's looking good. So far, we just have to keep digging and keep plugging away and the results will come our way.”

So how did the deal come together for you to get the ride for Ferrara ?

Scisco said “ Over the winter, he (Ferrara) gave us a call and said he (Ferrara)  was looking for a driver and was wanting to know if we were interested in maybe filling the position. So we talked to all of our guys and all of our sponsors and kind of told them what was going on and everyone was on board. So we called Steve (Ferrara) up and said ‘we'd love to, we'd love to give it a shot and see where it takes us’ and now fast forward a little bit. Now we're about halfway through the season and we got three wins under our belt. So far, so good.”

The future is looking bright indeed for the Ferrara team and Kyle Scisco.
